My Review:

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Scarlet is the second book in The Lunar Chronicles and it is even better than Cinder. If like me, you had a hard time understanding the first book and you were not really able to connect with the characters, well let me tell you this: Scarlet will not disappoint you!

While we are starting to know the new characters, which are Scarlet (obviously) and her new friend Wolf, Cinder appears as she is trying to break free from prison. She does it with Thorne’s help who doesn’t know in the beginning who she is but he doesn’t back away once he finds out. On the other side of the story, Prince Kai is trying to keep his people safe from the crazy Queen Levana which is preparing an attack if he doesn’t either marry her or find Cinder for her.

The stories that develop around these characters are full of surprises and I really enjoyed the book. I honestly can’t wait to see what happens next.

Thanks for reading!

CB.
